Orange Sierra Leone Warns Customers Against Fraudulent Messages and Scam Links

Orange Sierra Leone has issued a warning to customers about the circulation of fraudulent messages and suspicious links aimed at hacking messaging applications, stealing personal information, and defrauding users.
In a public notice, the telecommunications company clarified that such messages are not from Orange Sierra Leone or Orange Mobile Finance SL, urging customers to only trust information shared through its verified social media platforms.

The company advised customers not to click on unknown links, share one-time passwords (OTPs) or security codes, download suspicious attachments, or disclose personal information to unverified sources.
Orange Sierra Leone also encouraged users to keep their applications updated, use strong passwords, and activate two-factor authentication to improve account security.
