On Friday 15th May 2026, Orange Sierra Leone, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, made a financial donation to Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) in support of the institution following the recent fire incident, as well as to support national broadcasting and media development initiatives.
As a strategic partner of Orange Sierra Leone, SLBC continues to play an important role in promoting information sharing, public awareness, and national development.
The donation was presented by Orange Sierra Leone’s Chief Marketing Officer, Abdramane Kone, and General Secretary, Danetta Younge, to SLBC Director General, Josephine Kamara, and Deputy Director General, Mohamed Asmieu Bah, during a brief presentation ceremony.
Also joining the presentation alongside the Orange Sierra Leone team was the CEO of OWL Newspaper, Alhaji Dauda Bangura.
