Blessing Jane Jabbie Flies Sierra Leone Flag High In Benin

Blessing Jane Jabbie, a promising young cyclist from Sierra Leone, has excelled in a two-week training program in Benin.

The training was made possible by her glittering feats in Cycling, and her zest to proudly represent Sierra Leone in every competition.  Jabbie, who is one of the fastest female cyclists in Sierra Leone, said the training was a major boost for her career. She thanked the Meya Mining Company, especially the Chief Operations Officer, Dino Coutinho, for their invaluable contributions to cycling in Kono, and for always motivating cyclists with incentives.

The Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Kono Cycling Club, Foday Kamara, lauded the prompt support of the National Olympic Committee and the Meya Mining Company for always providing the necessary support to the Kono Cycling Club in the nick of time. It is the sincere hope of the Kono Cycling Club to see Blessing Jane Jabbie replicate what she learned in Benin and help inspire other female cyclists in Kono and Sierra Leone as a whole.
