Vandi Konneh Fires APC Executives

-Says their term has expired since May 2016

Dr. Vandy Konneh has said the tenure of the current Executive of the APC has expired since May 2016.

Dr Konneh, who is well known to be a very critical and controversial political figure in the APC, told journalist at a press conference that it is time for the APC to come out with a date for our conversation.”

He said the current administration headed by Ambassador Yansaneh has got nothing good to offer the party and the entire nation other than his old aged ideas which are not in line with modern democracy.

This, he said, is one of the reasons why he is contesting for the position of National Secretary General in the APC ahead of the party’s conversation.

In a letter dated 26th January, 2017 and addressed to the National Secretary General, Dr. Konneh wrote… ” The official mandate of all level of the current Executives of the party come to an expiration on the 13th May 2016, of which I wrote a reminder on Tuesday 31st May 2016 that was not professionally responded to expected and also disturbing to our level of human dignity in a democratic and good governance dispensation in the valuing of our membership in accordance with the party’s interim constitution of 1995.”
