Orange Sierra Leone has confirmed that the circulating Maxit loan advertisement is fake. The information contained in the image is false and did not originate from Orange.
Members of the public are strongly advised not to trust, share, or act on this fraudulent message. Scammers often use fake promotional materials to deceive people into revealing personal information, mobile money details, or making unauthorized payments.
Orange Sierra Leone urges customers to rely only on information published through its official communication channels. Never share your Mobile Money PIN, one-time password (OTP), or other confidential information with anyone claiming to offer loans or financial assistance.
If you receive this message or similar content, delete it immediately and report it through Orange Sierra Leone’s official customer support channels.
