Orange Money To Launch ‘The Next Alagba’ Campaign

Orange Money, the leading mobile finance company in Sierra Leone, continues to offer attractive prizes to customers with the launch of ‘The Next Alagba’ campaign.
The campaign, which will last from 1st March to 30th June, 2024, is set to make the next four millionaires worth Le1.2 billion (One Billion Two Hundred Million Leones Old Notes), apart from the various attractive prizes that will be won on daily and weekly basis through raffle draws.
The road show parade of the next ‘Alagba’ campaign was replicated in all provincial headquarters and districts to enable Orange Money customers participate and have the opportunity to win fascinating prizes on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Speaking during the road show kick-off point at Jui Junction, on the outskirts of Freetown, a representative from Orange Marketing Department, Elizabeth Walker, said the road show was a commemoration of the campaign launched on 1st March, 2024, as a way to sensitize the customers about the next ‘Alagba’ campaign.
According to her, the campaign is geared towards making their customers qualify and become the next millionaires through the use of Orange Money in all financial transactions.
She disclosed that for a customer to qualify for the next ‘Alagba’ campaign, he/she can dial #144# to use Orange Money to buy top up, pay utility bills, merchant fee among other transactions.
Madam Walker said the campaign will make a customer win a business worth NLe300, 000 every month, during the four months’ period, noting that the campaign caters for all-walks-of-life customers in society, as long as they are using Orange Money to undertake the above financial transactions.
“Within the 120 days campaign, the company will dish out attractive prizes of foodstuffs lasting for two months to a winner on a daily basis. Three winners weekly will also receive foodstuff prizes that will last with the winners for three months. The raffle draw for those that will be qualified on a daily and weekly basis will be held on radio and TV stations across the country,” she averred.
According to Madam Walker, the campaign will help cushion the economic situation of their customers, by making them rich in terms of foodstuffs and businesses.
Orange Chief Marketing Officer, Felix Macauley, underscored the importance of the campaign, saying the concept was developed to ensure customers using Orange Sims buy top up, data and undertake Orange Money transactions, among others, and stand the chance for their lives to be transformed before the next ‘Alagba’ campaign.
He said the road show parade will send a message to their customers to dial #144#, undertake Orange Money transaction, earn a point and qualify for the daily and weekly draws to win foodstuffs or the monthly draws for the next ‘Alagba’ winning NLe300, 000 worth of business.
The road show parade for the next ‘Alagba’ campaign kicked off from Jui Junction, Bai Bureh Road, Kissy Road, Wilkinson Road to the Lumley and Aberdeen beaches, with key messages of sensitization about the campaign.
