Alahji Musa Tarawally Presidential Bid…

A symbol of Peace to Unite Sierra Leone

Alahji Musa Tarawally’s Presidential bid represents a potential symbol of peace and unity for Sierra Leone at a time when national cohesion is crucial. The nation has long been plagued by divisions, with regional rivalries often overshadowing the need for collective progress. The narrative of superiority between South-Easterners and Northerners has further deepened these divides, preventing the country from experiencing the true essence of peace, unity, and freedom since gaining independence.

Looking back to the era of Sir Milton Margai, Sierra Leone found itself in a more harmonious state. Sir Milton’s leadership was characterized by efforts to bridge these divides and foster a sense of togetherness among the people. Therefore, in the present landscape of political discord and societal fragmentation, Alahji Musa Tarawally’s candidacy will offer a ray of hope for a nation in dire need of a unifying figure. By echoing the principles of peace, unity, and freedom exemplified by Sir Milton, Tarawally has the potential to steer Sierra Leone towards a future marked by inclusivity and progress.

Though some school of thoughts hold a different view about him, there are those who believe in the leadership of Musa Tarawally, affirming that with him at the helm of affairs, Sierra Leone stands the chance to enjoy the fruit of unity, peace and freedom. This is a man who provided support to former President Kabbah and also supported the SLPP to stand as a strong force within the political system. He is also on record, as the man who supported President Julius Maada Bio at a time when no one was there for him. He is Madingo by tribe, but does not believe in tribe, region or political affiliation, as all he sees is the symbol of oneness and peace for mama Salone.
