According to Mr. Ambrose James, “as we are approaching the rainy season, it was good to take stock of progress and how we address challenges.”
He furthered that work commenced in January 2024, and there has been considerable progress, although some timelines have not been met. He promised to continue working with the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA), consultant Politecnica, and contractor CSE, to ensure they meet their target. He later added that their colleagues at the EU delegation in Sierra Leone are providing the requisite support and tackling the challenges.
