In a remarkable and symbolic demonstration of solidarity, the people of Falaba Town turned out in large numbers to welcome and honor Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, fondly known as Jagaban, a respected figure and leading aspirant for the All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearership ahead of the upcoming NDC.
The event, held in the heart of Falaba Town, was not just a political rally, but a celebration of community unity, cultural heritage, and visionary leadership. It drew stakeholders from all walks of life—community elders, youth leaders, religious figures, traditional healers, women’s groups, and market women—who came together to show their support for Jagaban and the values he represents.
The ceremony was led by Hon. Lahai Koroma, a senior APC figure, who officially announced Jagaban’s intention to contest for the APC flagbearer position. Hon. He called for national unity and political tolerance, stating emphatically that Jagaban should be allowed to campaign freely, without fear, intimidation, or obstruction from any individual or rival aspirant. His words were met with resounding applause and chants of solidarity.
The event ended with communal prayers and a call for peaceful engagement throughout the political process. Supporters expressed confidence that Jagaban represents a new chapter for the APC, rooted in accountability, tradition, and the people’s voice.
