The Sierra Leonean delegation, headed by Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh, traveled to Tehran to attend the 14th Presidential Inauguration ceremony of I.R. Iran and witness the swearing-in of President-elect, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the inauguration, the delegation also met with Ibrahim Azizi to discuss bilateral affairs and confer on international issues
Honorable Ibrahim Tawa Conteh, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone, met with Ibrahim Azizi, Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The rest of the Sierra Leonean delegation included Hon. Daniel Barima Koroma, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, and Hon. Alpha Ben Mansaray, Member of Parliament from Moyamba District. Upon their arrival in Tehran, the Sierra Leonean Parliamentary delegation was welcomed by Mr. Nouri Qezeljeh, an esteemed Member of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
