As the All People’s Congress (APC) prepares for a new phase in its diaspora leadership, one name continues to stand out across the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond: Adams Bangura, a leader widely respected for his experience, integrity, and vision.
Adams Bangura is a seasoned administrator and committed party man, whose decades of service to the APC and to public life distinguish him as a strong candidate for Chairman of the APC Diaspora 6th Region. Known for his calm leadership style and unifying approach, he brings credibility, professionalism, and moral authority to a role that requires steady hands and clear direction.

Currently, Bangura serves as a Production and Operational Services Manager with NHS England, overseeing complex service delivery systems within one of the world’s most demanding public institutions. He has over 18 years of senior-level administrative and operational experience across both the public and private sectors.
His professional career began in Sierra Leone, where he held key roles, including Financial Analyst at the National Commission for Privatisation, and senior supervisory and management positions at the Sierra Leone Road Transport Corporation, Sierra Leone Ports Authority, Rokel Commercial Bank, and Sierra Leone Postal Services. This diverse background has earned him a reputation as a disciplined, results-driven administrator.
Beyond public service, Adams Bangura is a Research Fellow at Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs), reflecting his engagement with global affairs and international governance. He also served as BAME Representative within the UK Labour Party in Southwark, demonstrating his commitment to inclusive representation.
In 2023, Bangura played a pivotal role in strengthening APC’s international engagements. He coordinated high-level meetings between party leaders and the UK Parliament’s Select Committee on Foreign Affairs, and facilitated speaking engagements for former APC Flag-Bearer, Dr. Samura Kamara, at Chatham House and BBC Headquarters. His diplomatic skills were further evident during the APC retreat in The Gambia, where he successfully resolved immigration challenges faced by party delegates.
Within the APC, Bangura’s service spans decades. A former Youth Leader of APC UK & Ireland, he mentored many of today’s Diaspora 6th Region leaders. At the 2025 Diaspora 6th Regional Retreat in The Gambia, he served as a neutral moderator among Flag-Bearer aspirants, earning praise for his statesmanship and deep understanding of party dynamics.
Beyond politics, Adams Bangura is also a Minister of the Gospel, motivational speaker, and trainer/assessor. He served on the APC Diaspora Sixth Regional Seven-Man Committee, contributing to the drafting of the Regional Structures, and on the Diaspora 6th Regional Constitutional Review Committee. He is the founding Secretary-General and former Vice Chairman of AWOL UK, sits on several rights-based and charitable boards, and is currently Secretary-General of the Global Diaspora Hub of APC members worldwide.
He was named Best Speaker at the first APC National Youth League Conference in 2015, attended by the then President of Sierra Leone. He also served as a Parliamentary Symbol Candidate for Constituency 118 in the 2018 general elections and has previously contested for leadership roles within APC UK.
Academically, Adams Bangura holds multiple degrees, including postgraduate qualifications.
As the APC looks toward the 2028 political horizon, the Diaspora 6th Region requires leadership that is credible, experienced, and unifying. Many within the party believe Adams Bangura represents that steady stewardship — a trusted voice, a respected statesman, and a committed servant of the APC.
Vote Adams Bangura for Chairman, APC Diaspora 6th Region.
