In an effort to address unemployment and creating life-changing opportunities for Sierra Leoneans, Work Overseas Consultancy (SL) Limited, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, has provided opportunity for Sierra Leoneans to work overseas through a recruitment process catering for maids, Carpenters Mason, plumbers, cleaners and all other cadets for them to work in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Dubai under a two-year contract.

Mr. Conteh further highlighted the government’s role in monitoring the program to ensure workers’ safety and well-being.
“We have mechanisms in place to address any issues that participants may face while working abroad. This collaboration with Work Overseas Consultancy (SL) Limited is aimed at ensuring that every worker is treated with dignity and respect”, he noted.
Mr. Olu Johnson, General Manager of the company, spoke passionately about the agency’s mission which aimed at empowering Sierra Leoneans to work abroad.
