Best Njala University Male & Female Graduates Bag Award From Adonis Abboud Trust Fund

The Adonis Abboud Trust Fund (AATF), one of the leading education development partners, complimenting strides made by the Ministry of Education, has awarded Cash prizes and a trophy to the Best Male and Female Graduate from the Njala University. The presentation Ceremony was done by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Transnational (SL) Limited, Natalia Abboud, on Wednesday 6th March 2024, at their Head Office in Freetown.

The Chief Executive Officer for Transnational (SL) Limited, Natalia Abboud, upon presenting a Cash prize of three thousand Leones (le3,000) to each Graduate and trophies, revealed that over the years AATF has done a lot, including the One Radio one Student Campaign project in different parts of the Country, during the Radio Teaching program by the Ministry of Education.

CEO Natalia Abboud further maintained that it is a program that had been going on under the AATF and that they are proud to honor and acknowledge the best graduates from the Njala University. She noted that over the years they have been able to give honorable awards to 52 best Graduates from different Universities within the Country for academic excellence, and they are hoping to continue with such initiatives to inspire and motivate other Students under the Adonis Abboud Trust fund AATF.

Mammy Yeabu Kabia, the best Female graduate from Njala University, Bo Campus, who got an accumulative grade point of 4.75, is a sociology student. But initially she wanted to study Law, but her father said no, but grace found her, and today she is proud of herself, as a result of the successful woman she had become, and has been able to make it to the peak and the best Female Graduate of the year. She furthered that she had obstacles while battling with her journey, and this led her to her destination academically, but through hard work and team work, she was able to survive. “My dream is to become the first Female President of Sierra Leone” she explained.

The Best Male Graduate from Njala University, Sahid Emmanuel Conteh, got 4.78 grade point on Computer Science. Upon receiving his award, revealed that this is a motivational factor, as he intends to do more. In his words: “my inspiration started from Secondary School to study Computer Technology, and the secret behind my success was on selective participation and networking among fellow students”. He called on others to follow such good practices so that they too can get similar motivation from the Adonis Abboud Trust Fund.
