Mohamed Marrah Declared Wanted by the Sierra Leone Police

Reports reaching this medium revealed that one Mohamed Marrah was declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police over the November 26th, 2023, coup and jail break that let most of the high-profile prisoners escape.

According to the investigation mounted by this medium, it was revealed that Mohamed Marrah was the polling agent for the All People’s Congress party (APC) to represent his party during the ongoing elections, where confrontations occurred due to ballot boxes being distorted and other election malpractices. Mohamed was reported to the Sierra Leone Police and was arrested and later taken to the Kenema Police Station. Authorities allege that Mohamed Marrah and several others masterminded the unrest on election day.

Close sources reveal that Mohamed Marrah was interrogated many times before being charged to court and was later transferred to Freetown at the Pademba Road Maximum Prison.

It was revealed by family that he was at the country’s maximum prison until the November 26th, 2023, coup attempt, when the country’s maximum prison was broken into and all prisoners freed.

As a result of that, the security apparatus were searching for Mohamed Marrah and other prisoners, going to their houses with threatening remarks being levied against their family members.

As the media pressed the police to comment on the disappearances of Mohamed and others that were declared wanted, the media officer of the police explained that a list of wanted persons had been published, but there were others that they are looking for, and if seen, they will be arrested and brought to book.

As we go to press, the whereabouts of Mohamed Marrah is still unknown, and family members are afraid that he may have been killed.
