In an unprecedented display of leadership, empathy and love for members of his political party, the APC Tonkolili District Chairman, Dr. Sam Bangura, has donated a large consignment of rice and cash to Wards, Constituency and District executives as his own Christmas gift to his compatriots in the district.
The donation, worth over One Hundred Million Old Leones, has been described as a testament to Chairman Sam Bangura’s unwavering dedication to serve the APC in one of the most challenging periods in the party’s history. The towering academic figure and charismatic administrator, whilst addressing APC district officials, emphasized on the need for party unity and said the food and cash donations were meant to put smiles on the faces of party members in the midst of great political adversity and economic hardship.
The soft spoken, but articulate District Chariman, said APC members in the different localities within the district would now have the opportunity to converge at specific locations to feast in the camaraderie and spirit of Christmas. He said he would continue to identify himself with the challenges faced by every party member, and reassured all, of the opportunities that lies ahead.
