WARNING REGARDING THE PROPERTY OF WORDSWORTH FILO JONES
This notice is to inform the general public that the property located at Boyor Fakai, Tombo, on the Freetown Peninsula Circular Road in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone, is owned by Mr. Wordsworth Filo-Jones. Mr. Jones has been the lawful owner of this property since 1986, having purchased it in 1974 from George Beresford Cole, who bought it from Isaac E Davies, whose ownership was established through a public auction in 1949 by the Crown Colonial Government of Sierra Leone.
It has come to our attention that there are unauthorized and illegal activities being conducted concerning Mr. Jones’s property, including attempts by individuals claiming to represent the Ministry of Lands to undertake road construction and land plotting without Mr. Jones’s consent.
We hereby warn all members of the public that any attempts to buy, sell, transact, or negotiate any dealings concerning Mr. Jones’s property are illegal and will not be recognized. The validity of Mr. Jones’s ownership has been upheld by the High Court of Sierra Leone, which has issued court orders confirming his rights to the property.
The ongoing actions against Mr. Jones’s property are not only unlawful but are also a violation of established court orders. We urge all individuals to refrain from engaging in any dealings related to this property, as such actions may lead to legal consequences.
Please be advised that Mr. Jones and his legal representatives are prepared to take appropriate legal action against any individual or entity that attempts to interfere with his property rights.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
