AMTA Medical College, Black Hall Road, PWD, Freetown, hosted its annual Orientation and Matriculation Ceremony on January 28th-31st, 2026, welcoming hundreds of new students and final year students to the academic community. The event marked the official induction of aspiring healthcare professionals into the academic community, setting them on a path of rigorous training and service.
The ceremony served as a pivotal rite of passage, symbolizing the students’ transition into the demanding world of medical studies and their commitment to the ethical standards of the healthcare vocation. Over 500-1000 students matriculated, with final year students reminded of their graduation on February 7th, 2026.
CEO, Mr. Alex Kamara, encouraged students to seize opportunities for growth, emphasizing excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. The program featured activities familiarizing students with college policies, facilities, and services, including presentations from key departments and ICT tools.
