President Bio Makes New Appointments

President Julius Maada Bio has announced several significant appointments to key public institutions, a move designed to enhance governance and improve service delivery across vital sectors. In a public notice released by the Office of the President, the following individuals have been named to their new roles:

  • Michael Johnny has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT).
  • Sally Yeama Myers has been appointed as a Board Member of the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB).
  • Paramount Chief Amy Tator Kallon Tibbie II has been appointed as a Board Member of the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO).

The appointments were officially confirmed in a statement signed by Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq., Press Secretary to the President, and dated Monday, July 7, 2025.
