Jagaban Offers Hope & Relief To Black Hall Road Fire Victims

In the aftermath of a devastating fire that ravaged the Black Hall Road, Ashowbi Conner community, displacing families and destroying homes, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, affectionately known as Jagaban, stepped forward not just as a political figure, but as a beacon of hope.

Demonstrating true humanitarian leadership, Jagaban donated NLe 15,000 in cash and four bales of used clothing to support the victims’ recovery. His gesture was a heartfelt symbol of solidarity, an action that echoed far beyond politics.

He didn’t just donate, he listened to stories, shared prayers, and reminded victims that they are not alone. His personal presence brought comfort, reassurance, and strength to a grieving community.

The APC Constituency Secretary commended the visit, saying:

“This is the kind of leadership Sierra Leone needs, Jagaban listens, acts, and delivers. May the Almighty continue to protect him and guide his political journey.”

The visit coincided with Jagaban’s natal day, a moment he chose to share love instead of receive it, turning celebration into service. Many in the community were moved to tears, offering heartfelt prayers for his life and mission:

“Ooh Jagaban, may God continue to pour his grace upon you and fulfill your political destiny,” they chanted, united in one loud “Amen!”

This selfless act has resonated across the nation as a shining example of empathetic leadership, one that puts people before politics and compassion above all else.
