At Orange Sierra Leone, community is more than a value it is a responsibility we proudly uphold, especially during moments of faith, reflection, and togetherness. This Easter season, we reaffirmed that commitment by standing with Christian communities across the country in the true spirit of love, compassion, and shared responsibility.

On Good Friday, 3rd April 2026, Orange Sierra Leone donated food to support communal fellowship and celebration at several churches in Freetown and Makeni. Beneficiary locations included Jordan W.A.M Church, Murray Town; Holy Trinity Church, Kissy Road; St. Luke’s Church, Wilberforce; and Holy Trinity Church in Makeni. These donations enabled congregations to come together, share meals, and celebrate the significance of Good Friday in an atmosphere of unity and gratitude.
The initiative, themed “Together We Eat,” was driven by a heartfelt purpose: to spread love within the Christian community and support the tradition of sharing and reflection that defines the Easter season. By contributing to shared meals, Orange Sierra Leone helped reinforce the values of generosity, compassion, mutual care, and values that are deeply aligned with our corporate ethos.

Beyond the food donations, the experience itself was profoundly meaningful. Gathering with communities, sharing conversations, and witnessing the joy and appreciation among beneficiaries served as a powerful reminder of why we exist as a company. These moments reflect our belief that true impact goes beyond business; it is created when we stand with people during the moments that matter most in their lives.
For Orange Sierra Leone, Easter is not only a celebration of faith, but also an opportunity to renew our promise to the communities we serve. The smiles, gratitude, and shared laughter experienced during these moments reaffirm that community remains at the heart of our mandate.

As we reflect on this blessed season, we are grateful for the opportunity to give, to share, and to strengthen the bonds that connect us. Together, we continue to build communities rooted in love, responsibility, and solidarity.
Orange dey ya.
