Former Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament and current Member of Parliament for Pujehun District, Hon. Mohamed Sidie Tunis has donated NLe 400,000 (USD 20,000) to the SLPP Tonkolili District Executives in Magburaka town. He also donated one thousand bags of cement and five thousand pieces of half-inch iron rod worth thousands of dollars to the executives for the construction of the SLPP party office in the district.
This donation is part of his NLe 5 billion pledge to develop the party nationwide, already fulfilled in districts like Moyamba, East Urban, Bo and now in Tonkolili. The grant aligns with His Excellency Julius Maada Bio Bio’s BIG FIVE GAME CHANGER Agenda, focusing on Investing in Tomorrow for a Prosperous SLPP.
During his visit, Hon. Tunis paid courtesy calls to SLPP supporters, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
He emphasized two key priorities: grassroots mobilization for unity and progress on the good work of President Julius Maada Bio, and public education on nation-building, particularly the campaign against kush use under the theme “Say No To Kush.”
The SLPP Tonkolili District Executives expressed gratitude for Hon. Tunis’ unwavering support, pledging to maintain power in 2028.
The program concluded with a certification of appreciation from supporters, who reaffirmed their loyalty to Hon. Tunis.
