Sierra Leonean Woman Wanted for Husband’s Murder Reportedly Resurfaces in Germany

A Sierra Leonean woman accused of stabbing her husband to death in 2017 has reportedly resurfaced in Germany after years on the run.
Kadiatu Alisha Kamara allegedly stabbed her husband, Mohamed Koroma (Momoh Tala), to death on 27 September 2017 during a domestic dispute at 7A Ibo Town in the Waterloo Judicial District, Western Rural Area. Since then, she has evaded police arrest despite multiple efforts to track her down.
At the time, the Sierra Leone Police placed the amount of Le30,000 (approximately USD 1,400) for information leading to her capture.


Recent reports suggest that Kamara was seen on the streets of Germany, which video was published by a blogger circulated all over social media and allegedly was sent by one Ramatu Kallow.
When contacted, Police Spokesman Superintendent Brima Kamara told this medium that the Sierra Leone Police have not received any official report confirming her presence abroad. He reiterated that the money remains in place and urged the public to provide credible information that could lead to Kamara’s arrest and prosecution.
As of press time, attempts to reach Kadiatu Alisha Kamara’s family members for confirmation of the whereabouts of their daughter proved unsuccessful. They maintained that the matter is being handled by the police.
