Lands Minister’s Abuse Of Power Threatens Support For Bio’s Govt

The ongoing grievances and frustrations experienced by the citizens of Sierra Leone, particularly in Angola Town, regarding the abuse of power by the Minister of Lands, Housing, and Country Planning, Dr. Turad Senesie, is fast creating animosity between residents and other citizens living in the diaspora and the government.

Despite possessing legitimate documents from the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Country Planning, citizens are being subjected to undue hardships, likely for the personal gain of Dr. Turad Senesie. This egregious misuse of authority, not only undermines the trust in government institutions, but also exacerbates the suffering of already vulnerable individuals and families.

The bitterness and sorrow in the voices of the people are palpable, as they witness their properties being destroyed by the relentless rains, reflecting the profound impact of such actions on their livelihoods and well-being. It is imperative that immediate action be taken to address these grievances and ensure that justice is served.

Dr. Senesie’s actions not only betray the trust placed in him by the citizens, but also highlights systemic issues within the government’s administration and oversight mechanisms. His pursuit of personal gain at the expense of vulnerable communities, speaks volumes about the moral bankruptcy that has permeated certain echelons of power.

It is incumbent upon the government to heed the cries of its citizens and take decisive action to rectify the injustices perpetuated by individuals like Dr. Turad Senesie. Only through transparency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serving the public good can Sierra Leoneans hope to overcome the challenges that threaten their livelihoods and well-being.
