Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, Former Attorney General and Minister Of Justice, has responded to the statement made by Kashor J Holland Cole, the Western Region Council Chairman, where he had initially accused the US Ambassador, Bryan Hunt, of killing democracy in the country, adding that, his statement on 98.1 rendered the work of the tripartite committee useless. Will the US accept an election outcome without the correct result being read and published?
Kamara asked why Kashor should castigate the Us Ambassador, as what he said about the result was just what the laws of the country say, and that was the fact from all indications.
He added that, he should rather query those within the APC, who choose not to use the judicial process, and that the US should be seen as positive partners in electoral reform, not adversaries, noting that their investments are huge and speaks volumes of their committment.
