Jagaban Observes Juma Prayers at Masjid-Saffiatu Salwa, Malta Street

On Friday, 30th May 2025, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, and a distinguished member of the All People’s Congress (APC), joined fellow worshippers at Masjid-Saffiatu Salwa on Malta Street to observe the weekly Juma prayers.

Following the prayer service, the mosque grounds came alive with warmth and excitement, as community members of all ages gathered to engage with him. The enthusiastic reception reflected Jagaban’s growing connection with the people—signaling increasing momentum behind his political rise.

His presence at the mosque underscored a deep commitment to both faith and inclusive leadership—principles that continue to resonate with Sierra Leoneans from all walks of life.

Jagaban was warmly introduced by the Chief Imam, who commended his consistent support for interfaith harmony and community development. The gathering brought together respected Islamic scholars, community leaders, and members of the Muslim Jama’at, reinforcing a shared spirit of unity and devotion.

During the sermon, Sheikh Ibrahim King, Head of Religious Affairs, emphasized the spiritual significance of the Hajj pilgrimage, particularly during the days of Yawm al-Arafah and the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

As a gesture of goodwill and shared faith, Jagaban was received with heartfelt applause and gratitude—not only for his public service, but also as a symbol of mutual respect and collective values.
