Jagaban Leads APC Aspirants For Flag Bearer
As more and more All People’s Congress party members and supporters join the race to become flag bearer aspirants of the party, a recent nationwide manual poll conducted by the Comment Newspaper team, shows those in the party who are leading the pack.
1100 APC members and supporters were polled.
Margin of error is plus or minus 3.
One thing came out, which is that, most of those polled no longer trust those they deem to be elites having all sorts of academic or doctoral qualifications.
They believe that the APC party is a grassroots party. It is not a party for elites.
Most of those polled said that those high flying academics are the ones responsible for wrecking the country.
Those polled said they prefer a grassroots person to become flagbearer of the APC party ahead of crucial elections to be held in 2028.
It also became clearly obvious that the APC party is no longer interested in the idea of a female member becoming either flagbearer or running mate.
They all contend that, the SLPP is highly likely to put up Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh as their flag bearer in 2028, based on the results from the SLPP lower-level elections. The VP is way ahead of other SLPP flag bearer aspirants. He is leading comfortably in the race in all the regions in the country, including in the Southeast.
