In every generation, a leader emerges—not by self-proclamation, but through service, sacrifice, and an unshakable commitment to the people. Dr. Ibrahim Bangura is that leader. From the tender age of 15, he has walked the path of loyalty and dedication to the All People’s Congress (APC) Party, not for personal gain, but out of love for his country and a belief in a better Sierra Leone.
Today, as the APC stands at a crossroads, we must ask ourselves: who among us has consistently shown up, given back, and stood firm in the face of adversity? The answer is clear. Dr. Bangura has not only spoken of progress—he has funded it. His recent donation of Le 500,000,000 to the people of Kono for the construction of the APC Kono office is a testament to his belief in grassroots empowerment. This is not just a building—it is a symbol of unity, strength, and the future of the APC in one of Sierra Leone’s most strategic regions.
But Dr. Bangura’s leadership does not stop at infrastructure. He understands the pulse of the nation and the threats that undermine our youth and communities. His Le 100,000,000 contribution to the fight against Kush in Kenema is a bold statement: the battle against drug abuse is not political—it is personal, national, and urgent. “The fight against Kush is everybody’s interest,” he declared, “not by color or by tribe. We must stand up and face our future.” These are not just words—they are a rallying cry for unity and action.
Dr. Bangura’s journey with the APC is not a recent affair. For decades, he has served faithfully, often behind the scenes, building bridges, mentoring youth, and defending the party’s values. His loyalty has never wavered, even when the tides turned. He has been a pillar of strength, a voice of reason, and a beacon of hope.
To the Delegates, APC Party Leadership, and the general public: this is our moment to recognize and reward true service. Leadership is not about titles—it is about impact. Dr. Bangura has proven time and again that he is ready to lead, not just with words, but with action. He embodies the spirit of the APC—resilient, visionary, and people-centered.
Let us not be swayed by empty promises or fleeting popularity. Let us follow the leader who has walked the walk, who has invested in our communities, and who continues to fight for our future. Let us stand with Dr. Ibrahim Bangura—not just because he deserves it, but because Sierra Leone needs it.
Follow the leader. Follow Dr. Ibrahim Bangura
