The National Chairman of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hon. Minkailu Mansaray, has said the party is presently working towards preparation ahead of the party’s national delegates convention in 2026.

This news was broken on Facebook by the President of the Friends of Ernest Bai Koroma, Sahr Christian Mokuwa. In his writings on Facebook, Mokuwah said; “when I asked Hon Minkailu Mansaray whether he is not going to wait for the Electoral Justice before conducting the party’s National Delegate Convention in 2026? He told me that the party does not have ” Electoral Justice in the party’s Constitution.

“I spoke with Comrade Minkailu Mansaray, the APC party Chairman, who told me that his focus now is how the party’s National Executive is putting plans together for the next convention in 2026.

“I asked him if he is not going to wait for Electoral Justice before conducting the convention, and he told me that the party does not have Electoral Justice in the party’s constitution, and that he is only aware of the tripartite agreement, which the party, government, and the international community signed for implementation before the 2028 General Elections.

“So, as a party, our role is to work toward the tripartite agreement backed by the international community to see free, fair, transparent general elections come 2028.

He said some people are just dishonest by refusing to say the truth publicly, for their supporters to hear the truth, but hiding behind Electoral Justice to give a bad image to the National Executive’s function. As a party, we are moving forward. Nothing will deter our mandate.

“My advice to supporters of the APC party is that if you want to become a delegate please visit Zone’s Constituencies and district Region for you to be eligible to be part of the next convention to choose our next Flagbearer for the party to contest against the ruling party candidate come 2028.

“Thank God Comrade Minkailu Mansaray has made it clear that Electoral Justice is within the tripartite agreement. All the grievances that were made by the party are in the tripartite agreement to be implemented, as we are moving toward the 2028 General Elections.
