Donating Food Items & Covering Medical Bills…

Jagaban Celebrates Birthday By Visiting Connaught Hospital

On June 13, 2025, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed Omodu Kamara, widely known as Jagaban, visited Connaught Hospital to distribute food items to patients.

On his natal day, Jagaban took the opportunity to bring relief and hope to all patients at the hospital by distributing food supplies. Patients throughout the hospital offered prayers for Jagaban, recognizing his act as a true expression of his religious faith and compassion.

Jagaban delivered words of encouragement, inspiring patients to maintain their faith and trust that the Almighty God will guide their healing.

A particularly touching moment occurred when he covered the medical costs for 39 critically ill patients, including one whose mother was overwhelmed with gratitude.

“You are the leader Sierra Leone needs,” said one nurse. Jagaban provided financial support for medical expenses and prayed for the patients, who in turn prayed for his health and presidential ambitions.

At the Pediatric Ward, staff and children alike expressed joy and gratitude for Jagaban’s generous food donations. Similar sentiments were echoed in the Male Surgical and Trauma Wards, which inspired further donations from Jagaban.

As he departed, caretakers and youths sang his praises, chanting, “You are our next President!” and offering blessings: “May God bless you – Ameen!”
