Jagaban Shows Empathy at Connaught Hospital

On May 30, 2025, Sheikh Alhaji Mohammed Omodu Kamara, widely known as Jagaban, visited Connaught Hospital to see an APC member and other patients. Warmly welcomed by staff, he was praised for his humility and compassion.

“You are the leader Sierra Leone needs,” one nurse said. Jagaban offered financial support for medical expenses and prayed for patients, who in turn, prayed for his health and Presidential ambitions.

At the Pediatric Ward, staff shared challenges, including food and medication shortages. Similar issues were raised in the Male Surgical and Trauma Wards, prompting more donations from Jagaban.

A touching moment came when he covered medical costs for a critically ill child, whose mother wept for help.

Student nurses cheered as he donated to their lunch fund, urging them to stay committed. “You truly care for everyone,” one said.

As he departed, caretakers and youths sang his praises. “You are our next President!” they chanted. “May God bless you – Ameen!”
