Times SL Newspaper has uncovered that recent allegation of corruption at the office of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority have been thoroughly investigated, with the Executive Director and Head of Procurement vindicated. Times SL also learned that the allegation that the institution is under investigation by the ACC is untrue, as sources from the ACC confided in the Times that what they are doing at SLRA has nothing to do with corruption allegation.

“We are currently undertaking systematic review following recent allegation of fraud involving one SLRA staff and officials at Finance Ministry” the source from ACC revealed. On the issue of the 40 lots project, Times SL also discovered that there has been no complaint, as all the contractors went through scrutiny before the contracts was awarded.
