Freetown Terminal Honours Dedicated Staff

Freetown Terminal has honoured employees who have served the institution for over fifteen years during a dinner celebration held at the Country Lodge Hotel in Freetown.
The event formed part of activities marking the company’s 15th anniversary, with management recognizing staff for their dedication, loyalty, and immense contribution to the terminal’s growth and success over the years.
Speaking at the event, the General Manager, Maroun Abi Aad, described employees as the backbone of the organisation, noting that the company’s achievements go beyond infrastructure development.
“Our growth over the past 15 years is not just about infrastructure, but about people. Your dedication, resilience, and professionalism have built the strong reputation we celebrate today,” he said.
He further highlighted the company’s vision for the future, stressing the need for improved efficiency and sustainability. According to him, management remains committed to investing in modern equipment as well as human capital to meet emerging demands in the sector.
Also addressing the gathering, the Country Representative, Captain Fabjanko Kokan, commended the workforce and key partnerships that have sustained the terminal’s operations.
“This milestone reflects what can be achieved through strong collaboration between staff, partners, and the Government of Sierra Leone. Together, we have built a foundation for continued growth and national development,” he stated.
Management reiterated its commitment to staff development, improved working conditions, and continuous investment in the sector.
The ceremony concluded with renewed appreciation for employees and a pledge to strengthen teamwork and partnerships as the terminal moves into its next phase of growth.
