In a significant stride towards transparent and innovative politics, The Honorable Bai Mahmoud Bangura (BMB) officially launched the BMB Foundation and his political Campaign for the APC Flag-bearer 2028 website on Wednesday, 10th December 2025. The event, held at his Campaign Headquarters at Victoria Street, Freetown, marked a pivotal moment in Sierra Leone’s political landscape, signaling a commitment to modern engagement and open dialogue.
Prominent media houses and bloggers gathered to witness the launch, which BMB framed as a bold move towards “global vetting.” He articulated that politics in the 21st century must be a scientific process, embracing innovation to meet modern realities. This digital platform, therefore, is not merely a campaign tool but an open ledger, inviting local and international scrutiny of his candidacy for the APC flag-bearer position ahead of the 2028 elections.
The website serves as a comprehensive hub that informs, inspires, and connects. It features BMB’s biography, leadership philosophy, track record, and a detailed vision for Sierra Leone. Crucially, it aims to democratize access, ensuring that every citizen, including the often marginalized petty traders, academics, members of the press, political pundits, and investors, can engage with their plans for national renewal. BMB emphasized that leadership should be accessible to all qualified Sierra Leoneans, and he presents himself as capable and ready to serve.

The launch was steered by key members of the BMB Foundation, including Madam Zelikatu Jabbie Sesay, Comrade Alieu Senesie Koroma, Comrade Ibrahim Saio Turay, and Comrade Lawyer Tejan, who introduced the Honorable Bai Mahmoud Bangura.
