Jagaban Donates Le 100 Million Support to Fire Victims in Aberdeen

On Friday, 16th May 2025, following a devastating fire in Crabtown, Aberdeen, Freetown, that displaced several families and destroyed eighty homes, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara , widely known as Jagaban, visited the affected community and donated SLe 100 million in humanitarian support to aid recovery efforts.

A leading figure in the All People’s Congress (APC), Jagaban expressed deep solidarity with the victims, stressing the importance of unity beyond politics. “This is about being there for each other as Sierra Leoneans in times of crisis,” he stated.

The donation was distributed directly to the affected families. Jagaban also commended the swift response of emergency services and the leadership shown by local authorities. His personal engagement stood out, as he prayed, consoled, and listened to victims individually.

“This is the kind of leadership we need—leaders who feel our pain,” a local elder remarked.

The community received his visit with gratitude, describing it as a moment of shared hope and reassurance. Jagaban’s compassionate response highlighted the role of empathetic leadership in national healing and rebuilding.

Thank you for supporting the Jagaban movement!
