The latest agenda for African Energy Week (AEW) 2026 has been released, offering a preview of discussions expected to shape investment, policy and development across Africa’s energy sector.
The event will take place from 12 to 16 October 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town under the theme, “Affordable and Abundant Energy Additions for Africa.”
The five-day conference will bring together policymakers, investors, financiers, energy companies and technology leaders across seven stages and specialised tracks covering the continent’s energy value chain.
Among the platforms featured on the programme are the AEW Townhall, Upstream E&P Forum, Energy Finance Forum, Energy Additions Forum, Downstream & Petchem Forum, Power Africa.
Key sessions include:

– Investing in Angola’s Offshore Future: Scale, Stability and New Capital

The updated agenda also features investor forums, technical stages, country investment sessions, master classes, roundtables and opportunities to engage directly with the leaders shaping Africa’s energy investment landscape.
