Orange Digital Center Opens Applications for Second Cohort of Free 3D Modeling and Printing Training in Freetown

Orange Digital Center in Sierra Leone has announced the opening of applications for the second cohort of its free 3D Modeling and Printing Training Program following strong demand from the first intake. The initiative, supported by Orange S.A. through its digital skills and innovation hub, aims to equip participants with practical, industry-relevant skills in 3D design, prototyping, and additive manufacturing technologies that are increasingly shaping modern innovation and production.

The four-week training program is designed for students, innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts who are interested in transforming ideas into functional prototypes and real-world solutions. Organizers say the training will provide hands-on experience to help participants build competencies that are valuable in sectors such as engineering, product design, manufacturing, and creative technology.

The sessions will be held at 1 Alpha Wurie Drive, Hill Station in Freetown, and participation is completely free of charge. According to the announcement, the deadline for applications is 27th June 2026, and interested applicants are encouraged to submit their forms early due to limited available spaces.

Applications can be submitted online via the official form at Google Forms Application, with organizers emphasizing that the program forms part of broader efforts to strengthen digital skills development and innovation capacity among young people in Sierra Leone.
