The European Union Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Jacek Jankowski, has expressed appreciation to All People’s Congress (APC) flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, following a high-level engagement focused on the country’s current priorities and future development trajectory.
In a message shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ambassador Jankowski commended Dr. Bangura for what he described as a productive and insightful meeting.

“Plenti Tenki Dr. Bangura for an excellent meeting where you shared your views on Sierra Leone’s current domestic priorities and future developments,” the Ambassador stated.
The engagement is seen as part of ongoing diplomatic outreach efforts by international partners to engage key political actors in Sierra Leone on issues relating to governance, development, and national progress.
Dr. Bangura, a leading aspirant within the opposition APC, has been actively engaging stakeholders as part of his broader consultations on national issues and policy direction.
Political observers note that such interactions between diplomatic representatives and political figures are essential in fostering dialogue, strengthening partnerships, and promoting informed perspectives on Sierra Leone’s development agenda.
