SLPP Operatives Never Cease to Amaze Right-Thinking Sierra Leoneans! The insolent article from Uncle Sankara is not merely misguided; it is a brazen signal of the ongoing betrayal by the SLPP machinery and its captured Electoral Commission towards our traditional democratic partners. We read with contempt the news that Edmond Sylvester Alpha seeks capacity from India. We have not forgotten 2023. This is not a partnership; it is the orchestrated subversion of our democracy.
The SLPP regime, through its puppet ECSL, has shown its true, ungrateful character. After benefiting immensely from the technical expertise and financial investment of traditional partners like the EU, the UK, and the United States, which dedicated $1.5 million to reforms, their response is a clandestine pivot toward obscure, non-traditional alliances like India. This is not innovation; it is a calculated regression into the shadows where electoral manipulation thrives.
We defy this treachery. The reported involvement of Indian hackers in 2023 was the prelude. This new “capacity support” is the planned sequel, a deliberate strategy to sideline credible monitors and orchestrate another crooked election to cling to power. By snubbing the proven methodologies of our longstanding partners, the SLPP government reveals its intention: not to conduct an election, but to execute a pre-rigged coronation.
“Commissioner Alpha, you are testing poisoned waters. This is not a threat from the APC; it is the defiant promise of a nation pushed to its limit. We see you. We know the playbook. Implement this ploy at your peril. The outcome will be your undoing. The people are watching, and their patience has expired.”
Therefore, we issue this defiant warning to you and your masters: the APC and the people of Sierra Leone will not tolerate the manipulation of the 2028 elections. To our traditional partners, we say: see this ingratitude for what it is. Your investment is being discarded to facilitate fraud. Do not be bystanders.
This is our stand. We will expose and resist every step towards this illegitimate power grab. The will of the people shall not be subverted again. This is a Defiant Warning to ECSL and Its Collaborators: We stand resolute as the People’s Will is not for Sale. Try us!
