On 1st of December 2025, Wajama made another history.
The Pujehun District hosted the first Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, as she campaigns to stop kush taking in this our beloved country, Sierra Leone.
But the history made was made possible through the chairman of the party in Pujehun District, as Her Excellency made a stop at the newly established Wanjama Government Secondary school for Girls and Boarding home in Wombay Community, Kpanja Chiefdom Pujehun District.
A presentation was made by one of the girls in the boarding home, consisting of a gift and a letter of appeal outlining the challenges and the successes made so far through the help of the Government.
The First Lady expressed her appreciation for the school’s performance and the august welcome given to her. She made a firm promise that she will help the school in any way she could.
She embraced the girls that made the presentation and visited the hospital before going to the field to address the group of different categories.
