Judiciary Posts 4 New Judges to Key Districts

The Judiciary of Sierra Leone officially announced the deployment of four judges to various districts across the country, in a move aimed at strengthening judicial services and improving access to justice nationwide.

According to a public notice issued, the following appointments have taken effect immediately:

  1. Hon. Justice Santigie Ibrahim Sorie Bangura has been posted to Kono District, with additional responsibilities for judicial matters in Magburaka.
  2. Hon. Justice Mark Ngegba has been assigned to Moyamba and Port Loko, with a special focus on overseeing cases in Mattru-Jong.
  3. Hon. Justice Sahr Elogima Kekura will serve in an undisclosed district with special responsibility for Kambia.
  4. Hon. Justice Abdul Sheriff has been posted to Kenema, where he will also supervise judicial matters in Kailahun District.

The Judiciary emphasized that these postings form part of its ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to justice and the efficient delivery of legal services throughout Sierra Leone.

The public is encouraged to take note of the new assignments and cooperate accordingly.
