Jagaban consoles Kenema fire victims with Le 30 Million humanitarian support
Following a destructive fire incident in Kenema that led to the displacement of families as well as the destruction of properties, Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, visited the victims and consoled them with Le30 million humanitarian support.
As a prominent All People’s Congress (APC) figure, Jagaban expressed solidarity with the victims, emphasizing unity over politics. “This is about being there for each other as Sierra Leoneans in times of crisis,” he said.
His donation was distributed directly to affected families, and he praised the swift response of emergency services and local leaders. Observers noted his humility and deep engagement, as he spoke, prayed, and comforted victims individually.
A local elder remarked, “This is the kind of leadership we need—leaders who feel our pain.”
