Western Entities Hinder The Nation’s Progress
By Mahmud Tim Kargbo
Sierra Leone has a long history of neocolonialist and imperialist orchestrated political divisions and conflicts that keep on hindering its development and progress. The country has often been a target for neocolonialist and imperialist organisations seeking to exploit its resources and influence its politics for their own gain.
It is time for Sierra Leone’s two main political parties to put aside their differences and unite against these external forces that keep onĀ undermining the country’s sovereignty and independence. Instead of fighting among themselves for power and control, the SLPP and APC should come together in the best interests of the general public and work towards a common goal of building a strong and prosperous Sierra Leone.
Neocolonialism and imperialism continue to have a devastating impact on Sierra Leone leading to economic exploitation, political instability, and social unrest. Sierra Leone SLPP and APC politicians must prevent Sierra Leone from being a constant victim of these harmful practices by uniting against external forces that seek to manipulate and control the country’s affairs.
By working together, the SLPP and APC political parties in Sierra Leone can strengthen their position and resist external interference in their country’s affairs. They can promote national unity, economic development, and social progress, while safeguarding the rights and interests of their citizens.
It is time for the SLPP and APC political parties to show leadership and vision by putting aside their differences and uniting against neocolonialist and imperialist organisations. Only by standing together can they effectively protect the country’s sovereignty and independence, and ensure a better future for all Sierra Leoneans.
