Tenants beats landlord to death

Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara on Tuesday 25th June 2024, appeared before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Kabala Court for alledgely beating their landlord, Shekuba Kamara, to death.

Both accused: Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara, are standing trial before Magistrate Daboh on two counts, ranging from conspiracy and murder contrary to law.

According to the particulars of offence on count 1, both accused Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara on Thursday 28th May 2924, at 39 Jalloh Street, Kabala, conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony, to wit: murder.

On count 2 both accused on the same date and place murdered Shekuba Kamara.

No bail was granted to both accused, and were remanded in custody until the 2nd July 2024.
