The Family Members of Alie Kamara on Monday 25th February 2024, visited Dr. Adonis Abboud, the Chairman of Pikin Bizness, to express appreciation to him for helping their son, Alie Kamara, through the power of the Almighty God, to secure a second life after a successful heart surgery in Senegal.
Alie Kamara, in his statement, disclosed that with support from Pikin Bizness, he has undergone the second successful heart surgery. He noted that after he was diagnosed at the Ola During Hospital by the Late Dr. Olu Black in 2008, with the intervention of Pikin Bizness and its partners, he was flown to France for a free heart treatment at age fifteen, accompanied by family members.
He noted that the second surgery came as a result of a hit on his chest by a military officer during a Sport Meet at the National Stadium, and ever since, he has been having difficulty with his breathing, along with frequent attacks. “Thanks to Almighty God and Pikin Bizness, I am no longer having any challenge.”
The Mother of Alie Kamara, a Petty Trader, Madam Fatmata Trawallie, expressed thanks and appreciation to Pikin Bizness and God Almighty, especially to the Coordinator of Pikin Bizness, Mrs. Konneh, for facilitating everything.
Mrs. Konneh, in her statement, maintained that they will continue to monitor his activities and that they have facilities with similar surgical capabilities abroad in collaboration with their Partners.
Dr. Adonis Abboud, the Chairman of Pikin Bizness, expressed thanks and appreciation to his Health Development Partners abroad, including the Chain of Hope, for their continued support to help save the lives of deprived children in Sierra Leone. He noted that most of the time they are finding it difficult to access visas to fly out these sick children, disclosing that people are dying because they can’t afford to seek medication abroad and the absence in the Sierra Leone Health Sector of expertise.
