Ambassador under House Arrest in Foreign Land

Reports from one of the embassies in Africa have it that one of President Julius Maada Bio’s ambassadors is currently held under house arrest following the discovery of substances suspected to be 300 kilograms of cocaine.

Times SL gathered that the ambassador in question has been currently confined in his home, under surveillance and supervision by authorities in a foreign land, preventing him from leaving the shores of the land whilst investigation is ongoing. It is understood that the driver of the ambassador is also in police custody, alongside another Sierra Leonean, who, report states, were arrested with three cartons of drugs and a physical cash of $100,000 dollars.

However, investigation also revealed that the Sierra Leone Government has been informed of the development through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
