Police Declares Ibrahim Sesay Wanted

Investigation mounted by this medium revealed that one Ibrahim Sesay, a known supporters of the main opposition party APC, has gone into hiding after suffering several attacks from ruling party youths and the police.

According to police sources, Ibrahim Sesay is alleged to have been spreading fake news on social media about the government, as well as inciting youths to go on the rampage and create mayhem in the country. They furthered that among the latest of his actions is the calling out of youths to stage a protest against the government, with the aim of disrupting the peace and stability of the country. The police associate him with a popular blogger in Holland, Adebayor, who is notorious for inciting people to cause havoc.

Our source furthered that Ibrahim Sesay has been invited on several occasions for questioning, but that after his latest action, the police raided his Wellington home to no avail. As a result a warrant has been put out for his arrest.

During an investigation mounted by our correspondent in Wellington, the Western part of Sierra Leone, one of the stronghold of the main opposition party, residents in the area explained that Ibrahim Sesay and others are being targeted by the police because they are APC supporters, furthering that Ibrahim has been the target of ruling party youths, who had attacked and beat him mercilessly during a visit to the central of the capital, and instead of the police taking action to arrest his assailants, they arrested and detained Ibrahim for several days in harsh conditions. He is said to have returned after his release to Wellington, where he is thought to be safe, but unfortunately, news of his presence in Wellington was relayed to the police, who raided his house with a big team of armed officers. Ibrahim Sesay is said to have escaped and gone into hiding.

Family members spoken to also confirmed the attack on their house, as well as beating by armed officers. They furthered that they were warned to find Ibrahim or face arrest. These family members disclosed that they are no longer living in their house in fear of being arrested or shot, as has been the case for few of wanted persons alleged to be collaborators with the Holland blogger. They also revealed that since Ibrahim Sesay escaped on that fateful day, he has not returned, nor are his whereabouts known. They also confirmed hearings that the police has put out a warrant for the arrest of Ibrahim and a bounty on his head.

As we go to press the whereabouts of Ibrahim Sesay are still unknown and his family members are in hiding.
