Fuad Ibrahim Bangura Narrowly Escapes Death At Hands Of Angry Youths

Reports reaching this medium reveal that one Fuad Ibrahim Bangura, narrowly escaped lynching at the hands of angry youths after he was caught having sex with another young man by the name of Hassan Kamara in central Freetown.

Investigation mounted by this medium revealed that both Fuad Ibrahim Bangura and Hassan Kamara were close friends and were seen regularly together, but no one had the faintest idea that they were gay, until they were caught red-handed on 29th May 2018. Fuard Ibrahim Bangura is said to reside at # 1 Malama Thomas Street, Freetown, while his friend and partner lives at 13 Mill Street, Freetown.

According to family members of Hassan Kamara, both young men were seen regularly together, but their friendship was seen as the normal ones, as they often spoke about football and music. They disclosed that on 29th May 2018, they had left the house and gone about their normal business, often returning after 10:00pm. They furthered that on returning home from business, they met crowd at their house and learnt that their brother Hassan Kamara was caught red-handed having sex with his friend. They also learnt that he had been beaten and was unconscious.

According to eye witnesses, they heard screaming of Hassan Kamara’s sister, Fatima, coming from the house, and quickly rushed to help her. They discovered both Hassan and his friend, Fuad, stark naked in a compromising situation. Angry Youths pounced upon both youths, dragging Hassan out of the house. They explained that one set of youths were beating Hassan, while another set was dealing with Fuad in the house. Things got ugly when Hassan became unconscious lying helpless on the ground. The other set of youths in the house rushed out of the house to understand the situation outside. It was disclosed that while they were trying to resuscitate Hassan, his friend simply escaped, as all attention was on Hassan.

However, the father of Hassan, a devout Muslim and cleric did not hide his anger in knowing that his son and Fuad could engage in such abomination in his house. He described it as sacrilege, and vowed to find Fuad and make him pay for this sin. He told this medium that both his son and Fuad deserve to die, as the act they committed is not only a sin, but demonic, sacrilegious and an abomination, condemned by both religious faiths and an illegal act under the country’s law, punishable by life imprisonment.

Same sex in Sierra Leone is illegal and anyone caught in such act goes to prison for life, that is if the community spares the suspects to live. Otherwise, such matters do not come to the police, and death in such situations are not big deals.

Residents at 1 Malama Thomas Street, and in the vicinity of where Fuad Ibrahim Bangura lives, are angry and determined to make Fuad face the ultimate price for what they describe as a demonic, sacrilegious and satanic act. As we go to press the whereabouts of Fuad Ibrahim Bangura are yet unknown, while his partner, Hassan Kamara, is reported dead. The police did not comment on the incident, as they claimed no knowledge of it.
