The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Orange Sierra Leone, Sekou Amadou Bah, on Friday 24th November, received the prestigious award for being an Environmental Champion CEO of the year during the 7th annual Shout Climate Change Africa awards ceremony held at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Freetown.
Receiving the prestigious award, CEO Orange SL Sekou Amadou Bah, emphasized the impact of climate change being a critical factor that affects everyone, according to him is the reason why Orange SL is taking sustainable steps towards reducing the impact of the company’s activities by investing in renewable energy mechanisms to power its operations, putting Environmental Health and Safety programs in place to reduce its carbon footprints.
